A love letter to my first and favorite coffee apparatus, the Chemex.

Designed in 1941 by Peter Schlumbohn, it was named "one of the best designed products in modern times" by the Illinois Institute of Technology.

With its elegant contrast of materials, it certainly deserves its place at the MoMA.
